Oil paint on Fabriano paper, 92 cm w x 75 cm h a large painting inspired by my love of Inis Mhéin - a little island of the west coast of Ireland - heaven on earth. Cathaoir Synge or Synge's chair in english is a glorious place to visit - overlooking the Atlantic ocean and allegedly where John Synge wrote "Playboy of the Western World. This painting along with some of my other work is now showing with Brock Butler @ The Kilkenny Gallery for the Kilkenny Arts Week.
